Hello world!

I am a grateful Mom with a thankful heart, living in the beautiful Southern California Mountains with the happiest husband alive (not kidding!) and my fantastic kids =] I am not only obsessed with taking road-trips, but snapping pictures of everything everywhere! I love old signs and of course just a little bit snap-happy with the kids (they secretly love it, I know it). Although I am only a passionate "hobbyist" with photography, I would really love to learn how to be better. I also want to re-kindle my passion for making & sewing (it's been awhile) I hope it's in here somewhere...
I really love cooking, laughing with friends, book-making (gotta do something with all of those darn pictures), and anything else creative that I can get my hands on. If only I had more time!!!

I find comfort in the simplicity of every day life and have discovered that being ordinary is actually really quite extraordinary!
