Colby's graduating!

Here are proofs I am going to choose from for Colby's graduation party with his cousin & best friend from childhood. These were created by Olive+Star Paper Designs that I discovered on Etsy.com.  I absolutely love her simple, yet whimsical designs.  They remind me of the type of designs that Joy's creates, but I thought I would just give Ms. Joyful a break until she is feeling a little better and has that morning sickness under control.  Poor Joy =[ I miss you!

This is the first step in planning Colby's party and it's been much too long since I have hosted a party. I am starting to get really excited about it though!  I have "pinned" about a million pins on the Pinterest site so far trying to remind myself of different ideas that I can use.  The worst part for me is finding a cake that I would like to have for the party.  Oh, and the time to make all of these great ideas I found!

I am making a lot of the decorations and the table cloths too so I guess I better get fired up pretty quickly here, hugh?  I thought it would be easier to do all of this from the couch while I recover, but that was easier said than done.

I wonder if it would be bad if I decided not to use the school colors for the party?  I am really liking Lime with navy blue but our school colors are blue and silver.  That just doesn't sound like very much fun to me.  I guess this party will be trial and error so that I can get it right for when I host  Joy's baby shower in a few months.
